iWorks Celebrates Three Months of Holiday Traditions Virtually
By: Sydney MaHan
From Halloween to Christmas, fun events are just one part of how iWorks brings its employees together for camaraderie and fun. In past years, Halloween parties/costume contests, an International Thanksgiving, and desk decorating contests were held during the months of October, November, and December. While the COVID-19 pandemic has caused everyone to work from home, the fun didn’t stop as three months of iWorks holiday traditions were maintained virtually.
In October, iWorks employees enjoyed the spooky season via a virtual Halloween pumpkin carving and costume contest. In November, employees embraced all that they were thankful for and shared the wealth via a virtual cookbook in which they submitted their favorite recipes. And during the month of December, employees decorated their at–home desks for the annual Decked Out Desk contest! Additionally, in the spirit of the holiday season and all that has occurred in 2020, iWorks employees banded together to raise $936.90 to various charities, with a $936.90 match from iWorks Corporation a total of $1,873.80 was raised.
