iWorks Attends PSC’s Defense Services Conference
By: Emily Beck
Emily Beck, our Business Development Associate, had the opportunity to attend the Professional Services Council (PSC) Annual Defense Services Conference on August 13, 2020.
This conference included keynotes from the Honorable Ellen M. Lord, Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (A&S), and Rear Admiral John Polowczyk, Vice Director, J4, Joint Staff, Department of Defense (DoD). It also provided panel discussions with the Air Force, Navy, Army, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Defense-Industrial Initiatives Group, and Marine Corps Systems Command.
Panels discussed DoD modernization and sustainment practices in the current COVID-19 environment, with a focus on artificial intelligence, data analytics, recruitment, training, and supply chain risk management. Although there are great changes afoot in the defense industry, iWorks continues to adapt and provide top-level services as agencies navigate new challenges.
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect the way we interact with our government and industry partners, we would again like to thank these partners for their continued and concerted effort to maintain effective communication in an online format. We look forward to seeing how the environment will evolve, and what new opportunities will arise in this new normal.
