iWorks Attends Information Technology (IT) Conferences in May 2020
By: Emily Beck
iWorks had the pleasure of participating in two industry-wide events on Information Technology (IT) during the month of May 2020.
Our Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Jothi Radhakrishnan, and Vice President of Client Services, Tom Howe, attended a Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) industry day on the 22nd. This gave them insight to the current cybersecurity situation at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), as well as upcoming opportunities.
Jothi also attended the Microsoft Business Applications Summit on the 6th and 7th. This summit contained 145 sessions with topics ranging from big data analytics and integration to automation and various certifications. The event gave industry members a chance to interact with Microsoft experts and hear about available tools and applications from a primary source.
The current pandemic has severely limited the ways in which we can interact with our many government and industry partners. However, iWorks is proud to maintain our connections and resources with limited impact. We would also like to thank all those who are successfully transitioning their events to an online platform and encouraging continued interaction and communication as we all adjust to this new normal. We look forward to many engaging and informational events in the months to come.
